For three decades, Al-Asar Development Organization has worked alongside marginalized communities in Southern Punjab.
Our beginning
A local initiative with a lasting purpose.
Al-Asar Development Organization is a community-based, non-profit and non-government organization established to support vulnerable people—particularly women and children. Its first medical centre was established in Dera Ghazi Khan in 1995, followed by formal registration in 1996.
The organization’s guiding principle is “Help one another for virtue,” reflecting a belief that lasting development happens when communities take part in shaping and supporting their own future.
Mission
To improve socio-economic wellbeing by mobilizing and strengthening marginalized communities across Pakistan.
Approach
To advance peace, livelihood, welfare and social justice through community ownership and practical support.

Its management structure brings together finance and administration, human resources, programmes, healthcare and education, supported by programme, technical, medical and field personnel.
